The History of Seidlpark, Murnau
Relaxing, breathing, living – Enjoying the wonderful scenery of historic Seidlpark in Murnau and the Upper Bavarian Alps
The famous architect Emanuel von Seidl (1856 – 1919) built a country home for himself in 1901/02 in Murnau. This villa was surrounded by a park, called “Gelobtes Land” which he himself planned and started. Here Seidl, himself an exellent violoinist and flutist, gave concerts with the Munich group “Allotria”, and invited friends to theater performances.

Parts of the original scenery are still there and only a few steps from the hotel and you are invited to a relaxing walk.
