Hotel in Munich Ramersdorf

Ramersdorf is a district in the southeast of Munich. This purely residential area may be conveniently located right at the A8, yet this motorway ends in the middle of the district and thus impairs the image. But the connection to the city centre via the Mittlerer Ring or the U5 and the straight motorway connection to the south make this district a good location for hotels in Munich-Ramersdorf.

Within a short time you can reach such pretty little towns as Bad Tölz or Bad Wiessee. Another option is to spend a day at one of the Bavarian lakes like Tegernsee, Walchensee or Starnberger See. Swimming, sailing or surfing: here you can do everything. A hotel in Munich-Ramersdorf is a good starting point also for a day trip to the Allgäu region or the Bavarian Prealps.

Jewel at the motorway

Even if you chose to stay in the city you will find a number of places worth seeing in and around Ramersdorf  . Just a few metres from the end of the motorway is, for example, the Maria Ramersdorf pilgrimage church that has been destination of many pilgrims and devotees since the 14th century.
Since 1644, a pilgrimage route has led from Alter Peter along today's Rosenheimer Straße to Maria Ramersdorf. 16 chapels of St. Mary line the route to the important pilgrimage church which is richly furnished with relics and votive pictures. A local city recreation area can be found in the Ostpark, only a few minutes' drive from the hotels in Munich Ramersdorf. The barbecue areas, the lake, sunbathing lawns and a beer garden are popular places to go in summer, and in winter the ice rink is open for skaters.
